Thank you, Rachel. This article re-engaged my brain after a depleting few years. Content is the common thread that runs through all of the deliverables of a project and it is my job to be the content advocate — delivering the “right message” at the “right time.” Moreover, I get to do the things I love: dive into the details, analyze current state, devise a strategy, and engage the tactical. /sigh

5. non-standard links (is it that hard to underline?)
I’ll be honest and admit that I primarily use a Mac at home and for my work. When I’m onsite with clients, I frequently use their PCs and have done so for the last 15 years. I had the benefit of working on the Western Union Digital Win8 native application. My husband and I played with the surface tablet over a weekend to compare against the iPad. It’s fairly innovative for Microsoft and the gestural commands were pretty slick. I did have to print out the laundry list of gestures, there were too many for me to remember. I also like the tiles for no reason other than they remind me of Chiclets.
